The Golda Meir Square is being developed in the historic heart of Kyiv, in the Podil district, at 17-19-21 Borychiv Tik Street

This area was once leased to the Embassy of the Russian Federation for the construction of the new embassy building. The contract was terminated in 2014

Borychiv Tik is a legendary street in Kyiv, winding around the base of St. Andrew’s Hill

It used to be inhabited by artisans from Podil, but after the fire of 1811, architect V. Heste redesigned the street. Since then, it has become a place of attraction for residents of Kyiv

Today, remains of ancient 19th-century architecture can still be found along Borychiv Tik. One side features wooden-brick mansions near Andrew’s Hill, where the scenic St. Andrew’s Church – a UNESCO World Heritage site – stands tall. On the opposite side, buildings connect to the street by bridges at the level of the second or third floors, seamlessly blending the past with the present

The project team will create a multifunctional space where presents meet history

To bring the project to life, the team has engaged several architectural firms, two from Ukraine, one German, and one Spanish. Currently, 5 concepts are being evaluated
